SCOPE OF WORK
Internal Rehabilitation of Press and Suction Rollers and End Plates.Internal abrasive blast cleaning and relining of 4 off Jumbo Suction and Press rollers and 8 off end plates. An understanding of the corrosion mechanisms active in the Pulp and Paper industry is essential for successful maintenance and operation of these plants, as the operating conditions evolve and the infrastructure continues to age. The pulp and paper processes involve organic and inorganic environments, ranging from atmospheric to boilers producing steam under controlled conditions. Mills using the same process can have completely different corrosion challenges, owing to site specific conditions that develop, based on the type of process and chemicals used in different parts of the process, corrosion control measures introduced, and the age of the equipment.
