Corrocoat own all the equipment required for performing large scale lining projects, both in-house as well as in the field on client sites.
Corrocoat SA operates out of 3 workshops; (Johannesburg, Durban & Cape Town), with all property owned by either the company or a group company.
The Johannesburg (Benoni) factory comprises a complete industrial block with 14 workshops/buildings, of which a number are rented out to engineering and support companies. Johannesburg facilities comprise in excess of 5000sqm under crane, with 2 blasting booths. It also includes a fluoropolymer installation plant, and a 14m autoclave for steam curing rubber-lined components, plus light machining capacity.
The Durban (Seaview) workshop is 2000sqm under roof, with the main workshop equipped with overhead crane, ample lay-up yard, and fully enclosed blasting booth. The Durban factory also incorporates a valve refurbishment and manufacturing company (ValveMech) which is co-owned by Corrocoat in a joint venture.
The Cape Town (Stikland) workshop have 1500sqm under roof, with 4 ton & 2 ton overhead cranes in the workshop and 2 x 10-ton gantries in the lay-up yard. Blastbooth is 13m length x 5m wide x 5m height, equipped with grit recovery system.
All 3 workshops have are fully equipped for blasting, rubber lining and coating work. All workshops are equipped with a large selection of engineering tools and equipment, including site equipment such as site offices, site storage containers, refrigerated site stores, electric and diesel compressors, electrical distribution boards and -cabinets up to 1000 Amps, heavy 3-phase cabling, centrifugal and axial flow fans, ducting, pneumatic grit suction equipment, hoppers, forklifts, crane trucks, scaffolding etc, as is required for performing large and numerous simultaneous site projects.
Corrocoat performs the vast majority of its work on client sites, often during shutdown conditions, and as such is fully equipped and geared for site work, both large and small in scale. This includes abrasive grit blasting, coating and lining installation, GRP installation, rubber lining installation, ceramic wear lining installation, concrete repair and lining/coating, polymer concrete installations, fusion-bonded Fluoro-polymer installation, GRP installation, etc.
